1. Independent Contracting & SARS Tax Obligations

Remote Jobs SA connects South African job seekers with remote opportunities in the UK and USA. Please take note of the following legal classifications under South African law:

• No Employment Relationship: Remote Jobs SA is not your employer or recruiting agent. All remote job contracts are signed directly between you and the hiring company.
• Contractor Status: Because foreign employers generally lack local corporate entities in South Africa, you will be classified as an Independent Contractor.
• SARS Tax Submissions: You are solely responsible for registering for and submitting your own taxes to the South African Revenue Service (SARS). You must register as a provisional taxpayer and submit your biannual tax returns accordingly, as no PAYE will be withheld by foreign employers.

2. Subscription Billing & Refund Policy

Access to the premium remote job search board, course modules, and AI matching tools is available via a monthly plan (R35/month recurring) or a 3-month saver package (R99 upfront recurring), processed securely via PayFast.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your Profile settings to prevent future renewals. Cancellations take effect immediately. 3. Community Guidelines & Content Moderation

To maintain a professional networking and learning environment, we enforce a strict code of conduct on our community discussion boards:

• No swearing, hate speech, harassment, or offensive language is allowed.
• No posting of misleading or illegal content.
• Moderation Action: Platform administrators have the absolute right to delete any discussion thread or user comment that violates these rules, without warning or notification.
