• Identity Information: Your name, username, and email address.
• Professional Information: Career summary, skill lists, employment history, education, and credentials extracted from your CV.
• Usage Details: Your target job selections, AI CV analysis results, match scores, and community comments.

2. Purpose of Processing

Your personal details and CV are processed strictly for the following purposes:

• Parsing and structuring your CV profile to match you with remote job vacancies in the UK and USA.
• Providing automated AI-powered resume optimization advice and match-score feedback.
• Allowing you to participate in community discussions and moderation threads.
• Facilitating premium billing and subscription validation.

3. Third-Party API & Cross-Border Data Transfer

To provide the AI matching capabilities, parsed text from your CV is securely sent to Google Gemini API servers for structuring and evaluation.

By using our AI matching service, you consent to this cross-border transfer of data. Google Gemini operates under strict enterprise data protection agreements that prevent the training of models on your uploaded CV data.

4. Data Security & Storage

Your personal information is securely stored inside high-grade databases managed by Supabase and Prisma. We implement industry-standard encryption and access controls to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.

5. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under POPIA, you have the following rights:

• The right to request access to the personal information we hold about you.
• The right to request correction or updating of incorrect details.
• The right to request the complete deletion of your profile and uploaded files at any time. (You can trigger deletion directly from your Profile settings, or contact us).
